How We’re Dealing with COVID-19

The world is ramping up our response to the COVID-19 virus as we realize just how serious it is. We wish everyone good health and hope that everyone can take the necessary precautions to make sure they and their loved ones remain healthy.

Our top priority right now is the health and safety of our employees and their families. Everyone is now working from home, with all employees receiving full compensation even if they contract the virus and are unable to work.

We’re a pretty tight-knit family at SecureW2, and the past few weeks have been tough as some of our loved ones have contracted and are recovering from the virus.

While it’s been difficult, we understand that we have a duty to protect thousands across the globe from the threats of cyber crimes, and can assure everyone that our security services will remain operational during these times. Our infrastructure was designed from the ground-up with built-in redundancies, with staff members on-call to ensure necessary uptime.

If you are ever unsure the status of our service, you can always check our Status Page here.

Business operations are not affected by COVID-19, and you can continue to engage with SecureW2 sales and support as usual.

Our COVID-19 Response

It is our moral responsibility to quell the spread of the virus and protect those who are vulnerable. Here are the actions we’re taking:

  1. SecureW2 has instructed all employees to work from home with zero business travel during the outbreak in an effort to prevent the spread. This will not impact our customers; we are just taking the necessary precautions to keep everyone safe.
  2. All employees will continue to receive full compensation, even if they are unable to work due to COVID-19.
  3. We’re making sure all employees are knowledgeable and taking necessary precautions by following WHO and CDC guidelines.

We understand the severity of the pandemic and are focused on making sure our customers don’t experience any interruptions. Please do not hesitate to reach out if there’s anything you need as we are dedicated to helping in any way we can.

Need Help Working Remotely?

When employees work remotely, the security threats they face change. One instance we’ve seen is a sharp rise in the use of Virtual Private Networks (VPN), and we have been assisting many to enable certificate-based VPN authentication.

Another instance is a rise in Phishing attacks with hackers claiming to be the CDC or another trusted COVID-19 response resource.

If your business is having trouble transitioning to working remotely securely, please let us know. Due to our unique, and vendor-neutral, corporate structure, we’re able to offer incredibly cost-effective solutions in these times of need.

And again, please stay safe out there.
